Farming & emissions

Perpetual emissions

HBR emits on a 100-year schedule: 350M HBR in farm year 0, 250M in year 1, 150M in year 2, then a flat 235M / year tail for years 3–99. The curve is front-loaded but never cuts off — so farmers keep earning long after a typical fixed-term program would have ended. The dashboard's emission chart plots this schedule across the full hundred years.

Pools

Most farms are HB/HEX PulseX pairs. HB is a Hex Bond, this protocol's own fixed-maturity token — mint it against a delegated HEX stake, or migrate a real Actuator HTT 1:1 through the migrator. Actuator's own HTT/HEX LP is a different token and is not accepted by the farm.

  • HB-3000/HEX, HB-5000/HEX, HB-7000/HEX — live now.
  • HBR/PLS — live now.
  • HB-8000/HEX — live now.
  • HBR/HEX — live now.
  • HB-4000/HEX, HB-6000/HEX — added in farm year 1.

The HB pools roll out on a fixed schedule written into the contract. Three pools were listed outside that schedule in August 2026, once MasterChefX gained the ability to create pools at all — it had none before, having been forked from a MasterChef whose line-up is hardcoded.

HB-8000 is one of them. The 8000 maturity only became mintable in August 2026 — day 8000 is about 5,550 days away and a HEX stake can run at most 5,555 — so it is the newest and longest-dated token in the set, redeemable for HEX on 27 October 2041. The contract's own schedule would not have listed it until 2028, so it was listed early rather than leaving the most-requested maturity unfarmable for two years.

If you already hold Actuator's HTT-8000, you can migrate it 1:1 into HB-8000 and farm it here without minting anything new.

HBR/PLS and HBR/HEX are the other two — markets for the reward token itself, paired against PLS and HEX.

Getting in

The zap enters a farm in one transaction. Pay with PLS and it buys HEX, sells the right portion for HB, pairs both and stakes the LP to your own position — no token approval, because you never hold one. Pay with HEX instead and it skips the first leg (one-time approval, then one click).

It sells the exact portion that leaves the remainder pairing cleanly rather than a naive half, so almost nothing is left over; any dust is refunded to you. Set a slippage floor — the app derives one from the on-chain quote — because that floor is the only bound on the swap legs.

Reward weighting

Emissions are divided across pools by their weight (allocation points). Weight is relative, so adding a pool or raising one weight dilutes every other pool. A pool set to zero weight is retired but never breaks — deposits, withdrawals and harvests keep working, so liquidity is never trapped. Harvest pending HBR at any time.

Weights can be changed by the protocol owner. Every weight change first settles all pools at the old weighting, so rewards you have already earned are never re-priced by a later adjustment.

Rehypothecation (planned — not active)

MasterChefX supports attaching a per-pool strategy contract that routes the pool's LP into another farm for additional yield. No strategy is deployed and every live pool has none set, so all staked LP sits in MasterChefX itself. If a strategy is ever attached, the pool is flagged as rehypothecated in the app so it is always visible.
